My parents came over for dinner and brought this enormous mysterious white box with them. When we opened it up it truly was a party in a box. :-) Karen included copies of the invite she sent out, along with a game- "How to know whether or not you are ready to have kids". My personal favorite was the one that made Erik turn pale-
Automobile Test
Forget the BMW and buy a station wagon. Buy a chocolate ice cream cone and put it in the glove compartment. Leave it there. Get a dime. Stick it into the cassette player. Take a family size package of chocolate chip cookies. Mash them into the back seat. Run a garden rake along both sides of the car. There, perfect!
She also included some cookies and homemade butter mints (mmm....) along with dozens of presents. Let me say, Baby girl J is going to be the best dressed baby in Arizona! We really appreciated everyone's generosity. Baby girl J has a pretty amazing family- thank you everyone!
