Superstition Farm
On Saturday we decided to support our local agriculture and take Elizabeth out to Superstition Farm. We did a hayride, Elizabeth's first horseback ride, and the petting zoo. We discovered she loves all the farm animals with the exception of the chickens, which she is deathly afraid of. Overall we had a blast and left with fresh milk, ice cream, butter, and cheese. Yum!!!

San Francisco
Erik had a conference for work up in San Francisco this month so at the end of the week Elizabeth and I flew up there (which was an experience in and of itself!) to meet him. We met up with his Mom, Marni, and her husband Mike at Golden Gate Park and Elizabeth had fun playing with their dog Pepper. We also visited the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge and had a lovely time exploring the city.
Elizabeth rode her first carousel, explored a conservatory of flowers, and rode on public transportation (being from Phoenix, this was a bit of a foreign concept to us...) Elizabeth is a great little traveler- we can't wait to take her on more weekend trips!

Elizabeth with Pepper
While we were in San Francisco earlier this month we met up with Erik's mom Marni and her husband Mike at Golden Gate park. They brought their dog, Pepper, who Elizabeth thought was the funniest puppy she'd ever seen. We didn't take this video until a lot later when the novelty had worn off a bit, but Elizabeth was belly laughing non stop for a good half hour or so at cute little Pepper.
