So everything’s good here- baby J is great! But yesterday we had a scare. (One of many, I’m sure.) We went in for a sonogram to make sure everything was ok. And I’m glad we did, because we got to see a healthy baby J again!
He’s an inch long now (he was 9mm before) and his heart rate is 165 bpm (it was 135 bpm before). He definitely looks WAY bigger than the sonogram a week and a half ago. You can't see as much in the sonogram picture, it’s really just a gray blob. The head is to the right. The tech was able to show us the spinal column and the brain (which you can’t see in the picture very well). It was very exciting and a huge relief.
